This is a photo of a tree-frog that i spotted in a friend's pool this summer .
It reminds me of the Aegean , bringing with it the last yearning for sunshine and warmth before Old Man Winter arrives. Autumn barely made an appearance this year.
I am a sometimes artist in between diaper changes these days and enjoy combining my original photographs with cut-out ephemera and objects to create collages. This is one i jumbled together on a whim when i was feeling inspired.
The bit above with the butterfly (in this blogs header) is a snippet from another one i created around the same time. I have so many more in my head , i hope they find their way out too, somehow...
What i saw when i looked up this morning. It rained last night and the linden tree in my yard sacrificed some leaves to the skylight in the bathroom. I like its ghostly presence looming in the background...
